Virtual Processing Experts
This August I had a privilege to open the AI track of the European Digitalisation in Mining conference in Stockholm with my talk on human-centric A.I. I was presenting our latest and greatest solution for mineral processing, Virtual Experts, built on top of DataStories software suite. Our story generated lots of comments, questions, and discussions throuthough both days, and conference organisers labeled it a strategic insight.
The insight is that significant value exists today to use A.I. to partner with operators and help manage complex processes for maximal value, but only if you take the operations team with you. We stress that the true potential liest in A.I. as an informer, advisor and partner for operators, constantly making split-second decisions for complex processes, managing incoming variabilities from ore mineralogy, equipment status and previous shift actions.
